The History and Government Club and the Pre-Law Student Association (PLSA) are celebrating Constitution and Citizenship Day!
September 17th, marks the 225th Anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution. Be sure to stop by the student clubs' table at the 2014 Campus Fair in the Wick Lobby on September 18th from 11:00-1:00 to receive a free pocket-sized Constitution, to register to vote, and for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the Daemen College bookstore when you complete a mini-citizenship test.
Our constitutional rights and liberties, including the right to vote and the right to free political expression, are precious. The celebration of Constitution Day is a great reminder not to take these rights for granted.
